avenues run one way.

listened to ryan adams' "gold" tonight because i hadn't in awhile...
in between 'gonna make you love me' and 'wildflowers' there was a lull in the music and i realized how quiet it was outside...

no traffic.
no conversation.
slight wind.

i think i just discovered that those silent moments in the middle of a busy city is my favorite sound ever...
