saw "away we go" this weekend. i was a little nervous about it because of the expectations i was trying not to have but had anyway... it's a little nerve-wracking when one of your favorite authors takes his first leap into screenplay writing. so many factors could've messed with the integrity of the story... the good news, though, is that it was great! it was an ace blend of real and sweet and hopeful and humorous. i enjoyed it completely.

the entire soundtrack for the film was done by alexi murdoch. i'm sure you've probably heard this song if you've seen the trailer but here it is in its entirety.
